The team at Aurora Lab has curated an immersive fine-dining-in-a-story experience and invite their guests on a soul-seeking journey with the mystical little fox.
The 5000-sqft sky garden will open its doors to diners for an experiential fine dining experience with an unbeatable panoramic sea view backdrop. With an array of immersive experiences, lovers will have their breaths taken away by the romantically simulated aurora and gentle snowfall that perfectly complement the festive ambience.
Aurora Lab will officially premiere its northern-light-themed restaurant in Hong Kong from December 11, 2021 to January 2, 2022. This Christmas, the public is invited to the sky garden of the Southside landmark to witness a handful of picturesque sceneries. Drawing inspiration from Finland’s glass igloos, ten semi-transparent yet vibrant triangular huts offer a secluded hideaway for couples and even friends to have themselves a merry little Christmas.
The journey of taste
Aurora Lab offers its epicureans two sessions, in which they can choose between a three-course sunset ‘Arctic Dinner’ or a four-course evening ‘Aurora Dinner’. After a glass of welcome champagne, guests can take a look at the two menus featuring soup options, exclusive entreés and splendid main courses made from exquisite ingredients.
For gastronomers who are looking for an elevated experience, two add-on dishes, the Red Prawn Angel Hair and Black Truffle Mushroom Risotto are also available. The restaurant serves free-flow homemade Mulled Wine on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve.
Throughout the festive dinner, the much anticipated aurora will appear unexpectedly just like in real life. The blue and green ribbons will dance along with the winds using technological advanced projections and misting effects.
