CAIS: a global school embracing student-centric learningEducation | 8 Sep 2020
Established by the Kowloon Tong Church of the Chinese Christian and Missionary Alliance, Christian Alliance International School (CAIS) is a global school in West Kowloon providing international education from the preparatory, primary to secondary sections.
The school upholds a Christian education that emphasizes educating the whole child intellectually, physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually, so that students achieve success both in academia and character development.
The school adopts the Canadian curriculum of Alberta Education, and is currently in the process of gaining the accreditation to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) programs.
When it comes to academic training, CAIS adopts a dynamic and rigorous approach. Its students not only attain substantial outstanding results in the Provincial Achievement Tests, those graduated with the globally-recognized Alberta Diploma have also continued to secure admission to leading universities and colleges the world over.
While nurturing students’ competencies, it accords top priority to training them to become critical thinkers, and equipping them with an entrepreneurial spirit to make the world a better place for all. These include day-to-day learning activities for students to actively explore real-world issues and challenges, such as visiting elderly centers and collaborative beach clean-up activities.
