CLP gets animated on nuclear energy

CLP Power has created a new series of animated videos, in partnership with the Nuclear Division of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, to mark the 30th anniversary of importing nuclear energy from the Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station to the SAR.

Members of the public can watch the four-part Understanding Nuclear Energy video series on CLP Power's YouTube channel. The series aims to give citizens and students a better understanding of nuclear energy and its importance in helping the city achieve carbon neutrality in a simple and engaging way.

The four videos introduce the science of nuclear energy, covering nuclear power generation, radiation in daily life, how nuclear power helps address climate change, and nuclear safety.

The Hong Kong Nuclear Society also provided support by advising on the content of these videos.
