Lee Tung Avenue a 'corridor of wishes'

Lee Tung Avenue will install a "corridor of wishes" for Christmas, stretching along a 200-meter-long tree-lined walkway, and a five-meter-wide giant Christmas star above the Central Piazza, starting from December 5 till January 14 next year.

The installations were designed by local media artist Victor Wong, the visual effects director behind famous films Fearless, CJ7, Initial D, and Let the Bullets Fly.

"I hope it will inspire people with joy and positive energy by creating a visually striking experience that will captivate viewers and make them forget worries in this festive time of year," Wong said.

Apart from installations, Santa Claus will also be coming to Lee Tung Avenue, on November 28.

There will be two Nordic Christmas markets with charity elements: the "Swedish Winter 2023" market on December 1 and 2, and the "Finnish Northern Light" market on December 9 and 10.

The avenue will also roll out a limited edition free postcard delivery service, both locally and internationally.
