Love connection in Hong Kong

Thai actor Win Metawin and Filipino actress Janella Salvador are filming Under Parallel Skies in Hong Kong under the support of the Tourism Board.

The movie - directed by award-winning Filipino filmmaker Sigrid Bernardo - is set in Hong Kong and tells the story of a tender-hearted romance between the two main characters.

Metawin has acted in Thai smash-hit 2gether: The Series while Salvador is famous for her beauty and melodious voice.

The board has supplied numerous services to support the movie, such as guidance on filming sites and providing some Hong Kong cultural references that could be used in the plot.

"The board has always supported the in-town production of films from different parts of the world to showcase Hong Kong's unique culture to global audiences," said a spokesman.

The board also believes that people worldwide will be able to enjoy the city's distinctive culture and geography through the film.
