Man allegedly abducted in Sham Shui Po, forced into car

A man was reportedly abducted in broad daylight in Sham Shui Po on Monday afternoon (Mar 23).

Authorities said the incident occurred near the West Kowloon Centre on Yu Chau Street around 3pm. The victim was reportedly shouting for help before being forced into a private vehicle, which then turned onto Cheung Sha Wan Road and drove away.

Bystanders witnessing the incident reportedly called the police.

The case has been classified as false imprisonment.

Police are investigating the case.
