On February 16, a Threads user posted photos and a video celebrating winning four numbers on the previous Mark Six draw (draw 19). He bought a partial-unit 7-number multiple entry for HK$35 at the Jockey Club branch on Percival Street, Causeway Bay.
The post thanks the cat perched on a windowsill above the branch, joking it brought good fortune.
The win yielded three fifth prizes (HK$640 each fixed) and four consolation prizes (HK$40 each), totaling HK$2,080 for a full unit or HK$1,040 for his half.
Netizens congratulated him and dubbed the cat a “lucky cat” or “wealth-bringing cat.”
