Passengers travelling on the Tuen Ma Line on Sunday are advised to prepare for platform changes at Hung Hom Station due to scheduled track modification work.
To assist passengers, the MTR has deployed over 150 additional staff today, with some personnel holding large signs to guide travelers regarding train directions at the platforms.
While normal train frequencies will be maintained, the MTR reminds the public that all trains from Tuen Mun or Wu Kai Sha will terminate at Hung Hom Station.
Passengers are advised to allow extra time and follow staff instructions or check the MTR's app and social media for updates.
The work is part of the final phase of track modification for the Tuen Ma Line, which fully opened in 2021, connecting the Ma On Shan and West Rail lines.
Similar arrangements will also be implemented on March 8 for the work in the reverse direction.
MTR indicated that normal service is expected to resume from the first train tomorrow (Feb 2) and again on March 9.
The company stated it would promptly announce alternatives if delays occur and thanked passengers for their cooperation.
