Tseung Kwan O South Park opens new modern sports and play facilities

Hong Kong’s Tseung Kwan O South Park in Sai Kung District welcomed the public on Thursday with a range of new recreational and sports facilities now open for use.

Spanning about 38,800 square meters, the park features two basketball courts, a jogging track, smart fitness stations, and a dedicated pet garden. It connects to a 5-kilometer scenic walkway ideal for jogging and running.

Highlights among the newly opened additions include a Central Deck offering panoramic views of the Tseung Kwan O Cross Bay Link, an inclusive children’s playground with a spiral slide over 9 meters long, two 12-meter ziplines, and a children’s bicycle park.

Visitors can reach the park on foot from Exit B1 of Tseung Kwan O MTR Station or by various bus and minibus routes. Pets are welcome, with special weekend and public holiday access via kaito ferry from Sai Wan Ho or bus route PBS2 on Sundays.
