Tuen Mun woman falls to death, boyfriend missing after reporting

A 36-year-old woman fell to her death at Tuen Mun’s Yau Oi Estate on Wednesday night (Jan 7) at around 8.10pm. She reportedly fell from a height at Oi Tak House, landing on a building platform.

Paramedics arrived at the scene and found her unconscious. She was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital for emergency treatment but was pronounced dead.

Police have not recovered a suicide note. Preliminary investigations confirmed the deceased was a resident of the building. It is believed she fell from the rear staircase. The cause of her fall remains under investigation, and the exact cause of death will be determined after an autopsy.

Sources said the woman’s boyfriend, who reported the incident, has gone missing and is being sought by police. The case has been referred to the District Crime Squad of Tuen Mun District for follow-up.
