Six-vehicle pile-up in Tsuen Wan leaves truck driver trapped

A six-vehicle pile-up occurred on Tsuen Wan Road on Thursday, leaving a truck driver trapped with a leg injury.

The crash happened at 9.35am near the Cable TV Tower and involved at least one medium-sized truck and three light trucks.

Rescue personnel arrived at the scene upon receiving the report, and firefighters used tools to cut open the vehicle compartment to rescue the driver, who had sustained a leg injury after being trapped.

The Transport Department stated that several lanes in both directions of Tsuen Wan Road near Chai Wan Kok were closed due to the accident, resulting in heavy traffic congestion.
