McDonald’s Hong Kong has announced a pay raise for its entire restaurant management team across all outlets, effective from New Year’s Day, averaging 3 percent with outstanding performers receiving up to 5 percent.
The company will also distribute HK$500 red packets to more than 12,000 frontline and office staff in recognition of their contributions to the successful completion of its 50th anniversary celebrations.
The fast-food giant will also hold its annual staff banquet from February 23 to 25 at the AsiaWorld-Expo.
The three-night gathering is expected to bring together nearly 8,000 employees to celebrate achievements and reaffirm the company’s mission of delivering enjoyable dining experiences while spreading positive energy across Hong Kong.
The company further highlighted its ongoing efforts to broaden staff horizons through exchanges.
In 2024, more than 330 restaurant general managers and employees participated in a study trip to Shanghai, while in 2025, nearly 1,000 members of the restaurant management team attended an Operations Convention in Guangzhou.
