Taxi crashes into Kwun Tong school on Christmas morning

A taxi lost control and plowed into a school in Kwun Tong on Christmas Day morning.

The vehicle was traveling along Hip Wo Street at around 10am this morning when it veered onto the pavement near Wan Hon Lane, smashing through iron railings and crashing through the gate of Delia Memorial School.

Fortunately, no one was on the premises due to the Christmas holidays.

The driver was briefly trapped inside, while the passenger sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
