Police bust illegal arcade gambling den on King's Road, arrest 17

Police raided a suspected illegal gambling den in a King's Road flat on Thursday afternoon, arresting 17 people.

Following intelligence and investigation, Eastern district officers stormed the unit and detained a 42-year-old foreign man on suspicion of operating a gambling establishment.

Eight local men, three foreign men and five foreign women, aged 31 to 67, were arrested on suspicion of gambling in a gambling establishment. All are in custody.

Officers seized six suspected arcade fishing machines, a card reader and a batch of game cards.
