Fire breaks out at closed Tsim Sha Tsui Turkish restaurant

A Turkish restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui caught fire early Wednesday while closed for business, with firefighters quickly extinguishing the blaze and no injuries reported.

The fire service received reports of the incident at 3 Hart Avenue at 4.49am. Upon arrival, officers found smoke coming from the premises and immediately used hoses and tools to combat the flames, which were soon put out.

The restaurant was closed and empty at the time of the fire. No one was injured and no evacuation was required.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
