Two men were hospitalized after a collision involving two private cars on Fanling Highway early Wednesday.
The accident occurred around midnight when a dark-colored car and a white car traveling toward Tai Po collided near Bik Woo Garden. The impact caused the dark vehicle to spin around, losing its rear bumper, while the white car sustained serious front-end damage.
Two men, identified as a driver and passenger, suffered minor injuries in the crash. Both remained conscious and were transported to hospital for treatment.
Police confirmed both drivers passed alcohol tests. The incident caused temporary traffic congestion on the Tai Po-bound section of Fanling Highway, with queues stretching to Sheung Shui before vehicles were cleared and normal traffic resumed.
