At least 23 people, including a trapped minibus driver, were injured in a three-vehicle collision on the Fanling Highway this morning.

The accident, involving a Citybus, a minibus, and a medium goods vehicle, occurred at around 8am on the highway near Tsung Pak Long.
Police said the minibus driver was briefly trapped in the wreckage and had to be rescued by firefighters. He sustained leg injuries but remained conscious while being sent to North District Hospital.
A total of 18 passengers on the minibus and two passengers from the bus sustained minor injuries. The driver and a passenger of the medium goods vehicle were also injured in the crash.
Due to the accident, some traffic lanes on the Kowloon-bound highway have been closed, resulting in severe traffic congestion.
The Transport Department has urged motorists to take alternative routes.
