Light van overturns on Fanling Highway

A light goods vehicle overturned on Fanling Highway early on Tuesday morning, but the driver was not injured, police said.

The incident occurred around 4am when the van, heading towards Sheung Shui, lost control near Wo Hop Shek and overturned. Firefighters arrived at the scene, and the driver declined hospital treatment. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.

The Transport Department announced at around 6.21am that all lanes of Fanling Highway (towards Sheung Shui) near Wo Hop Shek were closed, urging drivers to use alternative routes such as Pak Wo Road. Traffic in the area is heavy.
