An insurance company in Ngau Tau Kok received a threatening letter containing white powder on Tuesday evening. The incident occurred at approximately 6pm at a commercial building on Hoi Bun Road when an employee opened the suspicious letter.
Emergency services including fire and rescue personnel arrived at the scene and confirmed no injuries or discomfort among staff. Preliminary police examination identified the substance as edible white sugar.
The case remains classified as "criminal intimidation" under investigation, with no arrests made so far.
