Incomplete cat corpse discovered near Wo Yi Hop Village in Tsuen Wan

A mutilated cat corpse was discovered near Shing Mun Road and Wo Yi Hop Village at approximately 11pm on Tuesday, prompting reports to police and animal welfare services.

A resident found the remains, which consisted only of the head and front limbs, initially raising concerns about possible animal abuse. Police officers arrived at the scene and requested assistance from the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Preliminary investigation indicated the cat had likely been consumed by wild animals. Police found no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident. The remains were removed by an animal funeral service organization for disposal.
