Members of the Kai Tak Sports Park (KTSP) can now reserve outdoor sports facilities within the Park -- including the beach ball court and the covered hard-surface court -- to play beach volleyball, futsal and pickleball.
KTSP has indicated that the design of the beach ball court adheres to international standards, incorporating spectator seating, sunshades, and rest areas to enhance the user experience.
Members aged 15 and above can make bookings for the indoor and outdoor sports facilities available within 10 days through the KTSP website and mobile app, with hourly rates ranging from HK$250 to HK$648.
Since its establishment in March, the Park has progressively made various facilities available for booking to "Friends of KTSP" members. These facilities include the running track at the Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground, as well as courts for table tennis, badminton, and basketball, among others.
The Park has reported that over 20,000 members have utilized the diverse recreational and sporting facilities offered.
