Seven caught red-handed in Ma On Shan jewelry robbery attempt

A robbery attempt at a jewelry store in Ma On Shan was foiled on Sunday morning, leading to the arrest of seven suspects and the seizure of burglary tools.

Police reported that they had been monitoring a crime group after receiving intelligence about a planned robbery at the MOSTown jewelry store, where the suspects were equipped with burglary tools.

The suspects arrived at the scene in two private cars this morning, prompting the police to intercept them as they approached the store.

Seven individuals were arrested and burglary tools were seized. 

The police also cordoned off both vehicles and the jewelry shop as part of the ongoing investigation. 

The arrestees, with their heads covered in black cloths, were taken into custody for questioning.
