Ocean Park has recently launched a fan club dedicated to a pair of locally born twin pandas, with a membership fee set at HK$880. The collected funds will be directed towards the park's conservation initiatives for giant pandas.
Members joining the club will not only receive special commemorative gifts but will also enjoy priority booking for panda-related events and workshops.
During a video address, Ocean Park Chairman Paulo Pong Kin-yee shared his insights on the public's strong interest in the twin pandas, affectionately nicknamed "Big Sister" and "Little Brother."
He emphasized that the establishment of the Panda Twins Fan Club is designed to engage with panda enthusiasts across Hong Kong and to acknowledge their support by offering exclusive benefits through official channels.
Feedback from the fan club members has been positive, with many finding the HK$880 membership fee to be reasonable. They are eager to secure spots for panda visitation tours and are excited about participating in unique activities, such as recycling panda waste into paper.
Additionally, new members have expressed their delight in receiving gifts themed around "Big Sister" and "Little Brother." Many are particularly attracted to the workshop that offers an experience of a day in the life of a panda caretaker.
