Initially, the family had considered a tree burial for Barbie, but her husband, Koo Jun-yup, expressed concerns that it would make it difficult for him to visit her.
He and her family spent considerable time searching for the perfect burial site before settling on Chin Pao San, which would facilitate easier visits and offerings from family members in the future.
The sudden demise of Barbie left her family, including her mother and sister, Dee Hsu, deeply distressed, causing disarray at home.
Most external communications were managed by Dee Hsu's husband, Mike Hsu, resulting in few official public statements about the burial.
During the burial ceremony, despite the heavy rain, all family members were present to bid their final farewell.
Koo held his wife's ashes personally during the ceremony. In keeping with Barbie's discreet nature, the family opted for a low-key ceremony, aiming not to disturb others.
Dee Hsu expressed her gratitude for the public's concern and shared that the ceremony went well and smoothly.
Koo, still dealing with matters related to his wife's passing, has yet to find rest.
