A man was robbed of over HK$300,000 in cash in Lai Chi Kok late on Thursday after he had completed a cryptocurrency trade.
Police received a report from 41-year-old Wong at around 11pm that he was assaulted by a man with a wooden stick near Lai Chi Kok Park Sports Centre and was robbed of a plastic bag carrying some HK$318,000 in cash.
The assailant was said to have fled towards the direction of Nob Hill following the alleged robbery.
Officers later responded to the scene and canvassed the surrounding area for the assailant. No arrest has been made.
