A Cathay Pacific freighter flight heading to Singapore has to make an emergency return shortly after takeoff on Sunday due to a suspected issue with the hydraulic system. No injuries have been reported.

The crew of the concerned flight CX3719 reported encountering issues in the air at around 11.30am and landed safely at 12.12pm at Hong Kong International Airport.
According to the Airport Authority information, the flight departed from at 10.55am and was scheduled to arrive in Singapore at 1pm.
The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
"Our engineers are now looking into the issue so as that the freighter can resume normal operation as soon as possible," according to Cathay's statement.
