teamLab exhibition extended 6 days, pre-booking arrangement canceled

The exhibition period of teamLab's installation, which features hundreds of colorful luminous ovoids illuminating Victoria Harbour, will be extended from June 2 to June 8. In addition, the pre-booking admission arrangement will be canceled to facilitate more people's visits.

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) said the large-scale outdoor art project has received an overwhelming response since its opening on March 25, attracting over 2 million visitors.

In order to allow more residents and visitors to enjoy the exhibitions, LCSD announced on Monday (May 6) that the exhibition period of "teamLab: Continuous" and "Science in Art" will be extended to June 8. The public can visit the exhibition directly during the opening hours without prior registration as the pre-booking admission arrangement will also be scrapped from this Wednesday (May 8).

There are a total of five projects under the second edition of "Art@Harbour" including two projects jointly organized by the Art Promotion Office and the Science Promotion Unit under the LCSD, namely "teamLab: Continuous"and "Science in Art." 

The project aims to bring the public and tourists a new inspirational and sensory experience at the Victoria harbourfront through outdoor art installations and digital art facades.
