Six days of carnival to celebrate Lantern Festival

Spectacular lantern displays and a series of carnivals are organized at three venues to celebrate the Lantern Festival with the public from February 20 to 25.

The carnival takes place at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza, Hong Kong Velodrome Park, and Tin Shui Wai Park & Ginza Square, with specially themed lanterns that will be illuminated every day from 6 pm to 11 pm.

A variety of amazing events, including ethnic dances, acrobatics, Huangmei opera, magic performances, fancy rope skipping, pop music and dance shows will be held during the carnival.

Gala Night is also organized for February 23 at Hong Kong Velodrome Park, February 24 at Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza and February 25 at Tin Shui Wai Park & Ginza Square from 7.30 pm to 10 pm.
