Hong Kong women's and men's rugby sevens teams joined the "Happy Wednesday" party at Happy Valley Racecourse to celebrate their spectacular Hangzhou Asian Games achievements with the public.

The event, which transformed Happy Valley Racecourse into a vibrant carnival with entertainment, food and drink, invited the star athletes to join the fun on Wednesday (Oct 4).
The men's rugby team successfully retained their title and clinched the prestigious gold, while the women's sevens team took the bronze medal - it is also their first-ever Asiad medal.
Hong Kong Jockey Club chairman Michael Lee received a signed jersey as a souvenir from captains for the men's and women's teams, Max WoodWard and Melody Li Nim-yan.
The executive director of corporate affairs of the HKJC Raymond Tam Chi-yuen, Hong Kong China Rugby president Peter Duncan, Hong Kong Rugby Union chairman Chris Brooke and chief executive officer Robbie McRobbie also participated in the event.
