BCI Asia Awards celebrates the best in Hong Kong’s architecture, construction and design industry

BCI Asia Awards, one of the most prestigious awards in the regional building industry, continues to recognize outstanding performers for the 18th year running.

Later today, the top ten most active property developers, architecture firms, and contractor companies in Hong Kong will be awarded the BCI Asia Top 10 Awards at the annual BCI Asia Awards Ceremony held at Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong.

Organized by BCI Central, the BCI Asia Awards seek to recognize the highest caliber of architectural and construction brilliance in seven Asian territories, including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. The awards not only provide recognition and accolades but also serve as a highly coveted platform for networking among elite architecture firms, property developers, contractors, engineering consultants, manufacturers, and service providers from both domestic and international markets.

The portfolios of the top developers are valued at USD10.2 billion, while the portfolios of these elite architecture firms comprise USD21.6 billion, and the top contractors are valued at USD18.1 billion worth of properties scheduled to start construction in Hong Kong this year.

These firms were chosen based on the greatest aggregate value of projects under construction during the last full calendar year, weighted by the extent of their sustainability efforts. For architecture firms, pre-tender projects were included to recognise the early incorporation of sustainable efforts.

This year, the BCI ASIA TOP 10 DEVELOPERS 2023 awards are bestowed on China Overseas Land & Investment Ltd.; Chinachem Group; Henderson Land Development Company Limited; K. Wah International Holdings Limited; Kerry Properties Limited; New World Development Company Limited; Sino Land Company Limited; Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited; Vanke Holdings (Hong Kong) Company Limited; and Wheelock Properties (Hong Kong) Limited.

Meanwhile, the BCI ASIA TOP 10 ARCHITECTS 2023 awards are conferred on Andrew Lee King Fun & Associates Architects Limited; DLN Architects Limited; Ho & Partners Architects Engineers & Development Consultants Limited; Hsin Yieh Architects & Engineers Limited; Lead8; LWK + PARTNERS; P&T Group; Ronald Lu & Partners; Wong & Ouyang (HK) Ltd.; and Wong Tung & Partners Limited.

Winners of the BCI ASIA TOP 10 CONTRACTORS 2023 award include Build King Holdings Limited; Chevalier (Construction) Company Limited; China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited; Chun Wo Construction Holdings Company Limited; CR Construction Company Limited; Gammon Construction Limited; Hip Hing Construction Co., Ltd.; Paul Y. Engineering Group Limited; SOCAM Development Limited; and Unistress Building Construction Limited.

Apart from the top 10 awards, the ceremony also showcases regional winners and merit recipients of Asia’s leading Green design competition FuturArc Prize and BCI Asia Interior Design Awards.
