Observatory to cancel all cyclone warning signals as Doksuri makes landfall in Fujian

The observatory said it will cancel all the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signals in the next couple of hours as Doksuri has already made landfall on the coast of Jinjiang in Fujian on Friday. 

Doksuri will move inland and weaken progressively, the weather watchdog noted. 

Still, there will be swells, the observatory added, and reminded the public to stay away from the shoreline and not engage in water sports. 

Locally, the weather will still be very hot today. However, showers and squally thunderstorms associated with Doksuri will also affect the coast of Guangdong later today (Fri). 

An active southwesterly airstream is expected to affect the coast of Guangdong tonight to tomorrow (Jul 29). 

Showers will be more frequent with squally thunderstorms in Hong Kong. The public should take note of the latest weather forecast.
