A woman threw a tantrum at a branch of a popular sushi chain after a waitress refused to let her in because her booking ticket number was called more than 30 minutes earlier without a response.
Instead of welcoming the woman and a friend and ushering them in immediately a video circulating yesterday shows the Sushiro waitress asks the woman to wait in line.
The woman argues: "We took a ticket earlier and should be allowed to eat earlier than walk-in customers.”
And the reason she wasn't around to answer the ticket call was that she'd felt unwell. When that isn't met with a bow and wave to enter the woman leaves in a huff along with her friend.
Sushiro went on Facebook to explain it keeps a number active for 30 minutes if a customer doesn't answer at the first call, but "30 minutes is our rule.”
People who watched the video praised the waitress for standing up to bluster, saying Sushiro's 30-minute rule is lenient as most eateries don't keep a customer's ticket in play after five other numbers have been called.
