A young woman has been arrested over the alleged bullying of another woman, who appears to be slapped and kicked several times by a group.
The suspect was held for alleged assault causing bodily harm and is assisting police with their investigation.
The videos of suspected fighting scenes among a youth gang have gone viral across social media groups.
They show a young woman being violently bullied by two other girls.
In one four-minute video that circulated on Facebook, two girls take turns to brutally attack the woman, who is slapped in the face at least 32 times and is kicked in the back 15 times.
The victim is pinned on the floor and has her hair pulled. Later, her dress is pulled up by another person. She does not resist the assault.
The nighttime video also shows some onlookers laughing and clamoring for more.
Some of them are even asked to turn on the torches on their mobile phone.
The exact time and location of the incident, and information on the alleged gang members, have not been revealed.
But some netizens claimed the site was a rooftop at On Ting Estate in Tuen Mun. Completed in 1980, it is a public rental estate with six blocks.
Other videos shows fighting scenes involving the same suspected youth gang.
They show two young women pulling a girl's hair, dragging her to the ground and asking her to apologize for an unknown mistake.
From the dialogue in the video, the woman was suspected to have been involved in a love triangle.
Another shocking bullying incident of a girl being attacked because of a boy occurred in 2018.
The incident involved a 15-year-old girl who called for a youth gang to attack another girl, 14, in Tin Shui Wai in July 2018.
The eight-member gang, aged 13 to 15, attacked the girl's lower body with broken chair legs. The girl's hair and pubic hair were burned.
They also slapped her, put a menstrual pad on her face, beat her with a belt and destroyed her mobile phone. She was slapped at least 15 times.
The five boys and three girls were charged in juvenile court with wounding with intent, or aiding and abetting the wounding, and property damage. Four pleaded guilty, another three were convicted and one was acquitted.
They were given probation, sent to a rehabilitation center or placed under a guardianship board.
