Youth from Lamma Island and three arrivals infected

A youth from Lamma Island, a woman who arrived from high-risk designated India, a male who flew in from the United States and an elderly man from Pakistan are confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus in the 24 hours to midnight.

The Centre for Health Protection said that the infected youth is a 29-year-old male from Tai Wan Nam, Lamma Island. He is linked to a previous coronavirus patient who had arrived in Hong Kong and diagnosed.

According to sources, there is a 52-year-old man returning from Russia earlier, who also lives in Tai Wan Nam, Lamma Island.

The female patient from India is a 17-year-old and the male from the US is 40 years old, CHP data show.

There are no local infections with unknown source reported.
