A 45-year-old male worker died on Friday morning after being electrocuted while performing air conditioning maintenance at a primary school on Wo Muk Road.
The incident occurred shortly before 11am today, leaving the worker unconscious.
His colleagues promptly called for help, and paramedics rushed him to North District Hospital.
Despite efforts to save him, the worker succumbed to his injuries.
The incident occurred on the school playground, where a large water cooling unit, suspected of supplying air conditioning to the school auditorium, was involved during the repair works inside the premises this morning.
Police officers have cordoned off the area to conduct an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the industrial accident.
