Stacey Devina Chan, a 26-year-old rhythmic gymnast from Hong Kong, was crowned Miss Hong Kong in the annual pageant final organized by Television Broadcasts (TVB) on Sunday.
Chan has been engaged in training for the balance beam and vault disciplines since the age of three. She secured her position on the Hong Kong gymnastics team.
She earned her first Hong Kong All-Around Champion title at the 2012-2013 Hong Kong Rhythmic Gymnastics Open Championships and subsequently won the same title in the event for three years.
Chan also earned 1st place in Ball and 1st Runner-up in Hoop and Ribbon at the 11th Singapore Rhythmic Gymnastics Open Championships in 2014.
Graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in the United States, Chan furthered her studies at Columbia University and continued her doctorate.
Angela Stanton, 26, was the first runner-up. She graduated from the University of Cambridge and is currently a finance professional working at an investment bank.
Jane Yuan, 27, emerged as second runner-up, while the Miss Friendship and Miss Photogenic awards both went to 21-year-old university student Victoria Lee.
