The Hong Kong Investment Corporation, a government fund managing HK$62 billion, will debut a pair of conferences centered on artificial intelligence-focused scientists and robotics to foster local applications of cutting-edge technologies, Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po revealed.
HKIC will hold the first International Conference on Embodied AI Robot to gather leading tech enterprises, academic institutions and investors to showcase the latest research and development outcomes and application scenarios, thereby boosting Hong Kong's global influence on technology.
In tandem to this, the government fund will organize the first International Young Scientist Forum on Artificial Intelligence to promote AI technology research and its development as an industry, including open source technology, in particular the design and application of the open-source chip architecture RISC-V.
