62-year-old martial arts superstar Jet Li revealed on Douyin Sunday that he had been hospitalized, posting a photo of himself in a hospital bed, which caused concern among his fans.
Today (Aug 18), Li reassured his followers by sharing a video on Douyin from the hospital, showing him receiving treatment and going for a check-up. He concluded by stating that he has been discharged.
In a recent post on Douyin, Li appeared visibly worn out, but in today's video, he looked much better.
Some parts of the video showed a tube in his neck, likely used for administering saline or medication, and he was transported in a wheelchair when leaving the room for examinations.
Despite this, he greeted the camera cheerfully and appeared in good spirits.
He even shared a photo of himself enjoying a meal after being discharged, signaling his recovery. However, he did not reveal why he was admitted to the hospital.
Some netizens noticed that the hospital signs were in English, suggesting that he was seeking medical treatment abroad.
