Biker injured after a three-vehicle collision in Central

A three-car collision occurred in Central on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in the injuries of a delivery biker.

The accident happened at around 12.30 pm when a taxi was driving along Man Po Street. As it arrived near the intersection of Finance Street, the traffic ahead began to slow down.

The taxi driver failed to brake in time and rear-ended a motorbike, causing it to hit the sedan in front.

The 38-year-old foreign biker suffered injuries to his back and was taken to Queen Mary Hospital in a conscious state.

According to the dashcam footage, the biker was sent flying into the air and landed next to the sedan, with the delivery items scattered all over the floor.

Internet users blamed the taxi driver for being reckless and hoped he would get banned from driving.
