Three showrooms and a service centre in Hong Kong of Chinese automaker BYD Co Ltd were daubed with red paint or have their roller door rammed in the early hours of Monday.
The showrooms in Tsim Sha Tsui and Wan Chai and a service centre in Tin Shui Wai were daubed with red paint between 3.57 am and 6.51 am, according to the police.
A steel roller door of a BYD showroom in Yuen Long was also rammed by a car at 4.05 am. The involved vehicle is also suspected to be a stolen car.
Police classified the cases as criminal damage, and the investigation is ongoing. No arrest has been made so far.
