Burglars grab HK$800,000 in valuables from detached house in Pok Fu Lam

An investigation is underway after some HK$800,000 in valuables was stolen from a detached house in Pok Fu Lam.

The incident happened at around 11 pm on Thursday at Bisney Gardens located at 25-27 Bisney Road.

The 39-year-old male tenant reported to the police that there were signs of his unit being ransacked.

Police responded to the four-story detached home and an initial investigation revealed that the tenant had lost around HK$800,000 worth of jewelry, watches, and handbags.

Sources said the tenant was at home when the burglary took place, but failed to notice the burglars. Security guards also told police they saw two suspicious persons.

The burglary is now handled by the Western District crime unit, with no arrests made so far.
