A large scaffolding has fallen on Broadwood Road near Beverly Hill after strong gust of wind hit Hong Kong on Friday, killing a female worker.

The 10-by-10-meter scaffolding bent and landed on two cars driving past a building on 4-38 Broadwood Road at around 10am, with two drivers trapped inside their cars before firefighters arrived to rescue them out of the wreck.
One of the drivers sustained injuries to his hands.
Meanwhile, two female workers were missing after the incident. Both workers have been found at around noon and one was rushed to Ruttonjee Hospital unconscious, she was certified dead shortly after.
Due to the fallen scaffolding, the TRansport Department said all lanes of Broadwood Road (both bounds) near Beverly Hill are closed to all traffic.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes such as Tai Hang Road or Blue Pool Road.
Traffic is busy now.
