The 28-year-old police officer wounded in Causeway Bay is now in stable condition, and will stay at Queen Mary Hospital for further treatment.

The officer was critically injured by a 50-year-old man from behind with a knife on July 1, the 24th anniversary of the handover of Hong Kong outside Sogo Department Store in Causeway Bay.
The left scapula of the officer was injured and he bled profusely. He was soon rushed to Queen Mary Hospital, and was once in critical condition.
The attacker then stabbed himself. He was rushed to Ruttonjee Hospital and was certified dead later that night.
