Fu Yung Building and Belvedere Garden in Tsuen Wan were locked down starting 8pm, with residents slapped with compulsory testing notices.

The closure is expected to be lifted at 7am tomorrow.
Residents at Fu Yung Building, 1-5 Fu Yung Street, and those at Block 4, Belvedere Garden Phase 2, 620 Castle Peak Road Tsuen Wan, are required to stay at their premises and undergo compulsory testing.
The government exercised the lockdown in these two areas as a preliminary positive case with unknown source was detected in each building respectively.
The government will set up temporary specimen collection stations at these two areas. Residents from both buildings are required to undergo virus tests before 1 am tomorrow.
People with negative virus test results with SMS notification or related certification from April 17 to 19 do not have to undergo the test again.
Anyone who has been at the above buildings for more than two hours from April 6 to 19, will have to undergo virus test on or before April 21
Anyone failing to comply with the compulsory testing order is liable to a HK$25,000 fine and a 6-month imprisonment.
