In a press briefing this afternoon, Ho said he supports the government's decision to postpone the Legco election for a year.
For the one-year Legco transitional period, Ho said the functions and duties should be the same as a normal legislature, but four types of lawmakers should not have their terms extended.
Ho said incumbent lawmakers who have been disqualified by returning officers from running in the now-postponed election should be dismissed as well as those who violated their oath or fail to perform their public duties.
Lawmakers who were found guilty by the courts, regardless if they have been imprisoned, and any lawmakers who have been involved in organizing activities promoting Hong Kong independence should also be dismissed.
He also said Legco needs to deal with issues of revitalizing the economy and alleviating people's difficulties as soon as possible in the coming year.
