The total amount up for grabs is HK$188 million, topping the HK$138 million won by lucky ticket holders on January 7.
The HKJC said the draw will carry a record-high snowball of HK$150 million and the First Division Prize Fund is estimated to reach HK$188 million for a single HK$10 winning unit.
It will be the largest-ever Chinese New Year Snowball in the history of the Mark Six, and a record-high dividend payout for a single HK$10 winning unit.
According to records, the number “15” was the most frequently drawn number in the 22 Mark Six draws at the start of the Chinese New Year since 2002, which has been drawn seven times.
That is followed by the numbers “10”, “43” and “48”, each of which has been drawn six times.
Mark Six tickets for the Chinese New Year Snowball draw are on sale up until 9.15 pm on February 2, the day of the draw.
