A wounding case in To Kwa Wan saw a 38-year-old man attacked by about 10 men wielding knives and metal poles on Monday night.
Police received a report from the man’s friend around 10.34, saying that the man surnamed Chung was assaulted by around 10 people wielding beef knives and metal poles in a unit at 373 To Kwa Wan Road.
The attackers fled soon after and Chung was later found outside the building by officers and paramedics. He sustained injuries to his head and hands and was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in a conscious state.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Chung was accompanied by his friend when the report was made to the police after the attack.
The case was listed as wounding and is now being handled by Kowloon City District Crime Investigation Team.
No one has been arrested so far and police are now hunting the attackers who were dressed all in black at the time.
