Reusable tableware rental service at HKBU

Hong Kong Baptist University will launch a reusable tableware rental service on the campus when the academic year commences aiming to reduce plastic waste. 

HKBU students and staff can use the ReCube app to borrow reusable tableware for free at the Harmony Cafeteria at HKBU Ho Sin Hang Campus, returning them at any participating outlet without the need for cleaning. Users can earn ReCoin points with each use, redeemable for dining rewards, encouraging more participation in environmental action.

The service is provided by ReCube, an environmental social enterprise founded by universities’ students and supported by Centre for Innovative Service-Learning of HKBU.
