An influencer famous for showing off her wealth has offered a HK$2 million reward to track down three knife-wielding robbers who took HK$3.6 million worth of valuables after tying her up, along with her six-month-old baby boy and maid in her Cheung Sha Wan home.

So Mei-yan, 25, also known as Cry So or So Miu-miu, said the trio broke into her flat at One West Kowloon on Lai Chi Kok Road at around 11am on Tuesday. So is famous for showing off her luxurious bags, cars and watches on social media.

Her helper, 45, was taking care of the baby in the living room when the robbers knocked on the door. She thought they were friends of So and opened the door, only to find the three knife-wielding men in caps and masks.

The trio then tied up the two women and the boy - who was hit on the forehead - and forced So to tell them where her valuables were.

They subsequently escaped with HK$3.6 million worth of valuables, including 10 handbags and seven watches.

So posted CCTV footage showing the three men entering the building on social media yesterday, adding that one even asked her how old her son is.

"The three men are so useless that they can only rob women and kids," she said. "They even beat a six-month-old baby boy, how shameless are they?"

So blamed her building's management company Goodwell Property Management for letting the robbers in.

"I've told the security guards 10 million times not to let anyone in without my permission," she said. "But they still allowed these three weird men in caps and masks to go upstairs."

So managed to untie herself and sought help from a security guard to call the police.

So claimed to have lost nearly HK$10 million in valuables, including eight luxury watches worth over HK$5.4 million, a three-carat diamond ring worth more than HK$2 million and more than 10 designer handbags worth over HK$2 million.

But the police said So lost HK$3.6 million in valuables, including 10 handbags, seven watches, a laptop and two mobile phones.

Sources said police found from the surveillance videos that the trio used an access card of a vacant apartment to enter the building.

Officers also noticed that the three men tried to enter So's apartment a day before the robbery, dressed as delivery men. But they could not enter the building as So was asleep and did not reply to the security guard.

Early yesterday, So said on Instagram, where she has 86,000 followers, that she would offer a HK$2 million reward for the arrest of the three robbers.

"I never beat my son, but [the robbers] dared to beat him. Let's see what will happen," she said.

She also described the three robbers as "garbage in society" in another post yesterday afternoon.

"I already gave them everything they wanted but they still beat me, my helper and my son," she said.
