Eight runners organized a fundraising event that raised HK$133,000 for the Chinese University of Hong Kong.The runners were New World Development public affairs general manager Helen Chan, CUHK Medical Centre executive director Fung Hong, CUHK's social science honorary professor Patrick Nip, Hong Kong Economic Times chief editor Simon Tsang, AM730 chief editor Alan Lo, i-Cable News general manager Regiona Kwan, Walter Cheung Communications founder Walter Cheung Shu-wai and Kelvin Yeung, chair of the university's statutory alumni body.
The event involved running a ten-kilometer route that passes through popular spots at nine colleges and the university headquarters.

The event was sponsored by Sunlight REIT's chairman Alexander Au, the wife of the late Lee Quo-wei Helen Lee and businesswoman Rose Lee.
The funds aim to support students who are interested in music, arts and cultural management to participate in related study, internship, or overseas exchange programs.
